Cryo-Electron Microscopy (CryoEM) has revolutionized the visualization of biological molecules, enabling near-atomic resolution imaging. This workshop offers participants a valuable opportunity to delve into the principles and diverse applications of CryoEM.

Attendees will explore the fundamental aspects of CryoEM, such as biological sample preparation, image formation and reconstruction, and cutting-edge advancements like Cryo-CLEM and cellular cryo-tomography. Additionally, the workshop will include an overview of Portugal’s CryoEM infrastructure (Cryo-EM PT), providing insights into how this powerful technique can be integrated into various research contexts.

Designed for both novice and experienced practitioners, the workshop caters to senior and postdoctoral researchers as well as PhD and Master’s students, delivering a comprehensive understanding through expert discussions, discussions, and valuable insights into the latest advancements.
