PPBI Nodes
PPBI is organized as a consortium of top research universities and institutes in Portugal, consisting of 20 core facilities distributed across three regional poles: Douro & Minho, Mondego & Beiras, and Tejo & Algarve. These nodes offer a comprehensive range of services in bioimaging, including access to imaging equipment, wet lab and sample preparation tools, computational clusters for data storage and analysis, as well as image analysis and training through courses, workshops, and online resources.
Additionally, our infrastructure supports animal facilities for both model and non-model organisms, providing services such as equipment operation, consulting, project planning, technology development, and outreach activities. Our highly qualified PPBI staff is dedicated to supporting all these activities and services, ensuring the success of your research projects.
