Course overview
The 5th QuPath introductory QuPath Course will run from the 4th to the 6th of May 2026, co‑organized by PPBI, LUMC, NKI, and IRB Barcelona, with support from Euro‑BioImaging. This hands‑on training offers a compact introduction to digital pathology and bioimage analysis using QuPath, a leading open‑source platform for whole‑slide image quantification.
Participants will learn:
- Basics of image analysis (4 May)
- QuPath navigation and visualization
- Image segmentation and classification
- Machine‑learning and deep‑learning workflows
- Automation with Groovy scripts
- Practical exercises with real datasets
Format and Requirements
In person in Lisbon (GIMM), Porto (i3S), or Coimbra (Polo I – UC)
Participants should bring a laptop and have basic ImageJ/Fiji experience
