In the HANDS-ON WORKSHOP ON HIGH-THROUGHPUT MICROSCOPY, participants will discover the fundamental principles of High-Throughput Microscopy (HTM) as it applies to RNAi and drug screening. The workshop will involve a small HTM project where participants will learn the theory behind HTM, engage in discussions on designing RNAi/drug screens, conduct an actual HTM experiment (including a bioassay and automated image acquisition), and perform image and statistical data analysis. Additionally, some applications of HTM will be showcased in research seminars.
