This course is tailored for ImageJ/Fiji users looking to advance their skills beyond the basics. It emphasizes automating routine tasks for processing multiple images and addressing complex image analysis scenarios to maximize information extraction. Participants will develop macros and scripts for batch processing, starting from simple macros and progressing to more complex workflows. While a basic understanding of bioimage analysis is recommended, no prior experience in ImageJ macro development or programming is necessary.
Participants should have some familiarity with image analysis and basic experience with ImageJ/Fiji. A personal laptop is required for the sessions. The course will cover various topics, including batch analysis, ImageJ macro language syntax, transitioning from GUI workflows to scripts, automatic data loading, batch processing, and extracting information into customizable output tables.
