We are excited to announce the 8th Workshop of the European Calcium Society (ECS): “Calcium Signaling in Aging and Neurodegenerative Diseases.” This engaging meeting features a diverse and compelling scientific program designed to foster discussions on the latest research advances related to calcium signaling in the brain, as well as the changes associated with aging and neurodegenerative diseases.

The scientific program is organized into four tracks focusing on synaptic calcium, mitochondrial and endoplasmic reticulum calcium, calcium signaling in glia and stem cells, along with a special session highlighting technological innovations in calcium imaging. This will be followed by a hands-on session for participants interested in practical applications.

Additionally, two poster parties will provide opportunities for discussion between emerging and established researchers.

Selected short oral presentations will be featured from submitted abstracts, and we encourage young scientists in the field of calcium research to submit their abstracts and showcase their latest findings.
