BioMethods Workshop

9 – 12 December 2019 | IGC – Lisbon

Modern biology presents intricate challenges that require multidisciplinary approaches and a high level of specialization for effective solutions. This need has led to the establishment of core facilities and scientific services, which act as accelerators for research by providing technical support and standardizing applications.

To enhance understanding of these facilities and raise awareness of available resources, the Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência (IGC) is organizing the 3rd edition of biomethods. This workshop is designed to provide PhD students, early postdocs, and technicians with a comprehensive overview of contemporary technical approaches in modern biology, including hands-on lab experiences.

Registration is free but mandatory. The workshop is limited to 40 participants, who will be selected based on their motivation.

The workshop will be held at the IGC in the Protagoras auditorium, located in the library building.
