The new Portuguese Platform of BioImaging (PPBI) Node is a multi-site, multimodal initiative within Euro-BioImaging that focuses on biological imaging.

PPBI serves as the national hub for the biological microscopy imaging community in Portugal, comprising 14 facilities organized into three geographical clusters. It is currently coordinated by the IBMC (Instituto de Biologia Molecular e Celular) in Porto.

PPBI provides advanced microscopy and image data analysis services across various life science fields, including cell and developmental biology, neuroscience, oncobiology, immunology, infection, and regenerative medicine.
