MICRODIA is an initiative that aims to showcase the advancements and technological capabilities of microscopy in Portugal by showcasing the Optical and/or Electronic Microscopy Platforms to schools, prioritizing high school students. Various activities will be conducted, including hands-on activities.
The institutions that have joined the initiative are: Fundação Champalimaud (ABBE), Instituto de Inovação Investigação em Saúde (IBMC & INEB), Instituto de Medicina Molecular, Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência, Instituto Superior Técnico de Lisboa (iBB), International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (NBI & AEMIS), Universidade da Beira Interior (CICS-UBI), Universidade de Aveiro (iBiMED), Universidade de Coimbra (CNC-MICC & FMUC), Universidade de Lisboa (FCUL), Universidade do Algarve (ABCRi), Universidade do Minho (ICVS), Universidade Nova de Lisboa (ITQB & NMS).
