September 23-25 and 28-30, 2020 | ONLINE COURSE

In the digital era, images are multidimensional numerical data that can be quantitatively processed and analyzed for deeper insights. This course provides a general introduction to ImageJ/Fiji (imagej.net/) and teaches participants how to extract quantitative data and write simple macros. Delivered through online Zoom sessions, the course takes a practical approach.
Course contents include principles, techniques, and ethics of digital bioimage processing; basic commands of ImageJ/Fiji; working with multidimensional bioimages (2D, 3D, time-lapse, position); image enhancement and processing; extracting quantitative data; and designing simple workflows for automating image analysis with ImageJ macros.
