Quantification is a crucial aspect of all scientific fields, and the ability to derive more information from data is an invaluable skill. This introductory “hands-on” course will explore concepts and techniques directly within the MATLAB environment. MATLAB is a widely used tool in scientific and technical computing, known for its versatility, power, and ease of learning. This course is particularly suitable for researchers who want to begin using MATLAB for scientific data analysis and image processing (quantification). Participants are encouraged to bring their own data and an analysis problem they would like to tackle during the course, with support from the tutors. No previous experience with MATLAB is required.
