HIGH THROUGHPUT SCREENING AND IMAGE ANALYSIS FOR BIOSCIENCES

18 – 22 June 2018 | i3S, Porto

This hands-on course is designed to introduce participants to experimental design, image acquisition, and data analysis for high-throughput (HT) experiments. These skills are crucial for generating large volumes of image-based data in the biosciences. Lectures will be led by experts in the field, and participants will learn to utilize cutting-edge technology for HT experimentation and open-source software for image and data analysis. Attendees will become familiar with automated liquid handling equipment and high-content (HC) imagers, such as the IN Cell Analyzer (HCS microscope) and ImageStream (imaging flow cytometer). The limited number of participants will encourage interaction with HTS/HCS specialists.

Registration Deadline: 4th June 2018
