The Spanish & Portuguese Advanced Optical Microscopy (SPAOM) meeting<\/strong> will be held online from November 23-25, transmitted from the Gulbenkian Science Institute in Oeiras, Portugal. Organized by the Red Espa\u00f1ola de Microscop\u00eda \u00d3ptica Avanzada (REMOA) and the Portuguese Platform of Biomedical Imaging (PPBI), this annual congress focuses on new applications in optical microscopy and image analysis. Participation is free for all attendees, thanks to our generous sponsors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year’s program features five plenary sessions, five community workshops, and various workshops and tech bites from commercial partners. Topics include Open Microscopy, 3D\/Live Imaging, Super-Resolution, and Machine Learning in Bioimage Analysis. Participants are invited to submit poster abstracts by November 12, with five selected for talks during plenary sessions. There will also be flash talks and a prize for the best communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key deadlines include: November 14 at 5 PM for registration and abstract submission; November 17 for communicating selected abstracts; and November 20 for event registration.
